] Micheal’s appearance screams one thing…professionalism Micheal looks almost exactly how he acts emotionless…Micheal is of the opinion that emotions only get in the way when you are in his line of work…his appearance displays that to a tee. He wears business suits no matter what the weather is outside he also tends to wear sunglasses for no other reason that it makes it harder to for people to tell exactly what he is and is not paying attention to…of course anyone who knows him can easily discover that he is most likely paying attention to everything. Standing a six foot even and weighing in at a lean one hundred and seventy pounds Michaels’s stature alone make him intimidating to the average person…add that to his stone cold stare and well you got yourself a pretty intimidating person looking at you.Personality:
Micheal values order and security in his life and prefers dealing with known quantities and following clearly defined guidelines in order to achieve his aims. He is ruled by reason rather than emotion and Micheal thinks in clear, practical, no-nonsense terms. He is uncomfortable with ambiguity, emotional impulsiveness or extremism, and things that cannot be explained in rational terms. Micheal thoroughly thinks a situation through before deciding upon a course of action, assessing and analyzing the matter carefully, and he can be relied upon to reach a fair, reasonable, and sensible solution to whatever he is facing whether its dealing with the best way to take down three class three mutants or evading capture by a SWAT police force.Abilities:
He is able to handle practical matters very efficiently, using both deductive reasoning and manual skills. However, it is easy for Micheal to become overly adult and to lose touch with his spontaneous, playful, vibrant, and childish side. Micheal can become too organized and controlled, and avoid giving his emotions or creative, playful impulses full expression, thereby creating a certain sense of emptiness. Making it somewhat hard to him to connect with anyone team mates included. This results in him usually opting to work by himself rarely wanting or enjoying the presence of another person.
Due to his very logical outlook it is almost impossible for Micheal to over evaluate his skills and capabilities he knows exactly what he is capable of and knows when to back down when the outcome of a particular situation seems unclear. This results in him being overly careful, rarely taking risks or getting himself into a situations where he is not almost one hundred percent sure he’ll come out alive. Micheal could be described as an over analyzer of sorts he thinks things through to the point where almost every variable is planned for this makes it incredibly hard for him to be caught by surprise.
A medical assessment of Micheal would simply tell you that he is human…just simply better Micheal Horn is roughly five to ten times better than a normal human in every way basically his powers break down like this.History:
Strength- Micheal Horn is roughly five times stronger than the strongest human on record allowing him to lift a max weight of roughly two and a half tons under normal conditions this strength limit has been known to grow slightly under extreme adrenaline rushes.
Speed Micheal is roughly between five to eight times faster than the fastest human every recorded thus allowing him to hit speeds between 65-70mph in short bursts and consistently run at speeds between 30-40mph for over an hour before showing any sort of signs of fatigue.
Agility Micheal Horn is exceptionally agile able to jump roughly ten feet in the air from a standing position his agility is so good that even the likes of Nightcrawler would be impressed with just how well the bulky man can move.
Stamina It takes a considerably longer amount of time for Micheal to tire he has been recorded to be able to go up to four days without sleep and fight for up to three hours before even the smallest sign to fatigue could be noticed.
Senses This is one aspect of Michael’s physiology that he actually has some control over normally Michael’s senses are completely normally but all he has to do is focus on whichever one of his five senses he wants to work better and bam his senses start working at a much more superhuman level. His eye sight is such that he was once able to literally shoot a target in the eye with a .45 caliber handgun from 145ft away. His smell is to the point where he can smell things even after they have been thoroughly cleaned…such as blood. His sense of smell is to the point where he can recognize people on scent alone..but it not quite so enhanced that he can track someone like a blood hound just by following their scent. His hearing is to the point where he can hear someone’s heart beat, or hear a conversation clearly from a room next door whether their whispering or not. His touch and taste are enhanced as well, but it is rare for him to utilize them.
DurabilityThough far from invulnerable Micheal can take a lot more damage than a normal person can he has easily taken a fall from a six story building. Operate despite having been shot in several non fatal areas. He can take more of a beating than a normal person can, but he still bleeds and if he were to get punched by someone like Colossus he’d be out cold.
Healing Yes, Micheal does recover from injury better than humans do although his healing factor is not nearly as impressive as the likes of Wolverine and Sabertooth he has been shown that a broken arm takes him as little as three days to heal completely and their or very few things that he can’t heal from given a good day’s rest…but his healing abilities aren’t all that good for combat situations as even small injuries can take up to fifteen minutes to heal completely and damage to any of his internal organs will put him out if not flat out kill him.
Reflexes/Mental ProcessingMichael’s reflexes and mental processing abilities are by far the most impressive part of his power set this aspect of his abilities after being tested showed him to be exactly 7.6 times better than the average person...at a normal rate…increasing so far as becoming up to twelve times better than the average person under extreme adrenaline fueled situations. Allowing him to perceive incoming attacks..and occasionally even bullets as if there coming at him in slow motion. Thus giving himself more time to think of an appropriate reaction. This power seems to kick in whenever there’s danger around for example he’ll be perceiving things just fine until something attacks then his reflexes will kick in allowing him to sometimes evade an attack on instinct alone.
Limits: Although he is certainly superior in a lot of ways Michael is far from unstoppable bullets pose a considerable threat to him and he does NOT like getting shot. He is far from invincible and the best way to take him down is to hit him with things that would prove fatale to a normal person. As this will at the very least put him down..some more fatal tactics like being shot in the head would most likely kill him.
Side Effects: The only aspect of Michael’s abilities that has a negative side effect is his reflexes they seem to be dictated on adrenaline the more adrenaline he has pumping through his system the faster his reflexes and mental processing. However, the more adrenaline he burns through he will start to get headaches very painful headaches. So much so that he has learned not to use his reflexes at their upmost capacity for than twenty seconds at a time afterwards he usually tries to give himself a good five minute rest before using that aspect of his powers again. He can push himself, but that comes with a risk…he has been known to over use his reflexes so much that he passes out.
Due to his extensive and lengthy career Micheal’s training makes him more dangerous than his powers already make him.
Micheal was born in Chicago, Illinois his father was a neighborhood barber and his mother..was a stay at home mom. The first sixteen years of his life were normal he was on his high school football team and was a reasonably popular boy in school. His powers first manifested himself during a football game in the last half he managed to score an astounding six touchdowns for his team to win in a land slide victory. It was then that Michael noticed he was different he wasn’t even tired after the game and he was literally running over some of the biggest linemen the other team had as if it was nothing.Other:
Not sure what to do Micheal kept his mouth shut and tried to ignore what was happening to him. Aspects of his powers start manifesting themselves little by little after that he started hearing things no normal person should be able to hear. The boy’s locker room soon smelled so bad that to him that it was unbearable. Despite this Micheal did very well at keeping his powers hidden mostly by opting not to do anything physical…no sports, and his definitely avoided fighting. Thanks to this his parents never even found out about his mutation, and to his knowledge they still don’t know, not that it matters he hasn’t seen any member of his family for over twenty years.
After some practice Micheal got somewhat of a hold of his abilities. Enough so that hiding them wasn’t as hard. After graduating high school Micheal not knowing what he wanted to do in college opted for joining the military. It was there that his gifts were quickly put to use the American government soon realized what a skilled solider Micheal was and switched him over to black ops from there he was trained extensively in assassin, interrogation, and infiltration tactics his allowing him to further hone his superhuman abilities.
Micheal did so well at his job that he was even asked to join Strykers team of mutants…he respectfully declined…there was something about Stryker that just made Micheal not trust him…a gut feeling and due to his line of work Micheal had long ago learned that trusting your gut feeling was the way to go in such situations.
From then on Micheal worked on several missions for the government gaining more and more experience. But at a price, with each mission Micheal found himself losing his humanity. He soon discovered that emotion was a weakness in his line of work he began to make it a point not to get close to anyone. Not even his teammates therefore sparing himself the anguish that came from losing his friends in the battle field. With each mission Micheal became more distant colder until soon he was nothing more but an emotionless killing machine that believed in only one thing…professionalism.
It was during his time that stories of the group called X-Men, and their enemies the brotherhood began to pop up..he decided it was best not to get involved despite being a mutant himself Micheal didn’t care about anyone but himself which meant that whenever a conflict between mutants and humans came up…Micheal opted to just stay uninvolved. Even during the phoenix ordeal Micheal took Magneto’s advice and stayed out of their way after coming to the conclusion that going up against a mutant as powerful as Jean Grey was not a smart move. In fact he considered the X-Men rather dumb for attempting themselves.
After serving his country for over twenty years Micheal was approached by Hyperion he listened to their proposal an came to a very logical solution. They offered him more money…for less work. Needless, to say he took their offer. He has been working for them for the better part of five years now he has proven himself to be very successful agent finishing his jobs quickly and efficiently usually leaving no trace of him having ever been there.
